Criterium racing provides both competitors and spectators the thrill of racing around a fully closed road circuit and is sure to be a highlight of the weekend. The 2.2km circuit is fast and flat with a long back straight with a sweeping right turn into the final 250m sprint to the line. Positioning will be crucial for the sprinters looking to cross the finish line first.
The $2,400 Prize Pool will be split evenly amongst the Open A, B, C & D grades and the Women’s A, B, C & D grades!

We will also have some great sponsor prizes for the Juniors.
Races will be run according to AusCycling technical regulations and open to anyone who holds an AusCycling “Race All Discipline” license (no trial memberships). You will be asked to nominate your grade while entering and the race commissaries will review the start list and contact any riders prior who they feel have entered in the incorrect grade.
TRACKSIDE BAR & BIG SCREEN
The Hemingway’s Brewery trackside bar will be the perfect place to watch all the action with the big screen right opposite. Cameras will be located around the course so you can follow the riders as they race around the circuit. It is the perfect excuse to enjoy a cold one with your mates while watching exciting racing.
